Wasn’t sure what I would get from having my chart done but it was extremely interesting and very informative, so much so that I got one done for each of my kids. For the past few years, Emma has been our amazing yoga instructor at our over 50's resort.  I am 70 years young and I am a Breast Cancer survivor, having had a bi-lateral mastectomy. I had limited mobility in my arms as a result of the operations and a lot of scar tissue. Since I have been attending Emma's weekly yoga classes I cannot believe how strong my body has become and how my core strength, balance and mobility has improved. I have attended Emma's yoga class since moving to Palm Lake Resort, having participated in yoga classes externally for approximately 20 years. I find Emma to be one of the best instructors I have had. She modifies programmes and positions to accommodate everyone's individual needs and experience levels, as well as gently challenging us all to achieve our best. Our age group (seniors) benefits enormously from her classes.

Attending Emma's yoga class over the past 14 years has had several benefits in my day to day life. I am more aware of my posture, both at work and home. Recognising and avoiding stressful positions along with being able to relax and stretch when needed, has alleviated back pain problems. I feel great after a class; my body is energised and my mind is calmed. The short meditation at end of class provides some time for stillness, better than a nanna nap! I have always been very impressed after a session of yoga with Emma. Even more so after returning home from my recent trip to India where I performed yoga extensively for several days. I found there to be many similarities between the yoga teachings in the country from where yoga derived to a modest yoga class in Oxenford on the Gold Coast. This is all thanks to having an amazing and authentic yoga instructor, Emma Janetzki. Coming home to the stresses of a full time job in hospital theatre administration & other commitments and in the most demanding way; that of the western lifestyle, Emma's class is the only place you'd want to be at the start of every morning and the end of every day.
